Der Arzt steigt ein, und schon rast der Wagen davon, wobei der Arzt noch hört, wie die Haustür, hinter der sich die unglückliche Rosa eingeschlossen hat, unter dem Ansturm des Mannes zersplittert. In kürzester Zeit und selbständig legen die Pferde den weiten Weg zurück und bringen den Arzt an das Ziel, den Hof eines kranken Jungen.
