Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación2022Gran La Plata4950-34-2135-7 Emerging Territorialities in the peri-urban area of La Plata.
This book compiles articles focused on the different emerging territorialities shaped by the primary activities of agricultural production in the peri-urban area of La Plata district. This territory is a space affected by economic logics permeated by a series of particular practices and social relations that have been established by social agents over time. Taking into account the forms of production and the activities derived from them in the peri-urban area, the chapters discuss the production of cut flowers; horticultural production mostly in greenhouses; life in the communities of Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Bolivian migrants who have territorialized the area creating spatial mediations in order to take root in the place; and, in turn, all the problems derived from certain dynamics linked to the activities generated by a mostly migrant population that has settled for years on the periphery of the city. LondonMIT2005XX, 647 p.ill.24 cm001VAN00623902001 Intelligent robotics and autonomous agents210 CambridgeMIT.USCambridge <Mass.>VANL000513ThrunSebastianVANV049277321788BurgardWolframVANV049278321791FoxDieterVANV049279321790MIT <editore>VANV111700650ITSOL20240419RICABIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI INGEGNERIAIT-CE0100VAN05VAN0062389BIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI INGEGNERIA05PREST K 733 05 4881 20071204 Probabilistic robotics785263UNICAMPANIA04094nam 22006135 450 991015870600332120201114071221.03-319-51037-110.1007/978-3-319-51037-8(CKB)3710000001007877(DE-He213)978-3-319-51037-8(MiAaPQ)EBC4774784(PPN)198341091(EXLCZ)99371000000100787720170103d2017 u| 0engurnn|008mamaatxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierRadio Resource Management for Mobile Traffic Offloading in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks /by Yuan Wu, Li Ping Qian, Jianwei Huang, Xuemin (Sherman) Shen1st ed. 2017.Cham :Springer International Publishing :Imprint: Springer,2017.1 online resource (IX, 78 p. 21 illus.) SpringerBriefs in Electrical and Computer Engineering,2191-81123-319-51036-3 Includes bibliographical references at the end of each chapters.Traffic Offloading in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks -- Resource Allocation for Small-Cell based Traffic Offloading -- Resource Allocation for D2D-assisted Traffic Offloading -- Conclusions and Future Directions. This SpringerBrief offers two concrete design examples for traffic offloading. The first is an optimal resource allocation for small-cell based traffic offloading that aims at minimizing mobile users’ data cost. The second is an optimal resource allocation for device-to-device assisted traffic offloading that also minimizes the total energy consumption and cellular link usage (while providing an overview of the challenging issues). Both examples illustrate the importance of proper resource allocation to the success of traffic offloading, show the consequent performance advantages of executing optimal resource allocation, and present the methodologies to achieve the corresponding optimal offloading solution for traffic offloading in heterogeneous cellular networks. The authors also include an overview of heterogeneous cellular networks and explain different traffic offloading paradigms ranging from uplink traffic offloading through small cells to downlink traffic offloading via mobile device-to-device cooperation. This brief is an excellent resource for postgraduate students studying advanced-level topics in wireless communications and networking. Researchers, engineers and professionals working in related fields will also find this brief a valuable resource tool. .SpringerBriefs in Electrical and Computer Engineering,2191-8112Electrical engineeringComputer networksApplication softwareCommunications Engineering, Networkshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T24035Computer Communication Networkshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I13022Information Systems Applications (incl.
