An up-to-date and wide-ranging guide to eighteenth-century poetry. Reflects the dramatic transformation which has taken place in the study of eighteenth-century poetry over the past two decades. Opens with a section on contexts, discussing poetry's relationships with patriotism, politics, science, and the visual arts, for example. Discusses poetry by male and female poets from all walks of life. <brBlackwell companions to literature and culture ;44.English poetry18th centuryHistory and criticismEnglish poetryHistory and criticism.821/.509HK 1150rvkGerrard ChristineMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910813922003321A companion to eighteenth-century poetry1990225UNINA01203nas 2200361- 450 991014100680332120220902213021.01984-5987(OCoLC)1136304270(CKB)2670000000081624(CONSER)--2022243183(EXLCZ)99267000000008162420170808a20059999 --- -engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierChildhood & philosophyRio de Janeiro :Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Faculdade de Educação, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação,2005-1 online resource2525-5061 Childhood and philosophyChild. The proposed methods enable the extraction of this vital information from EEG signals in order to accurately detect abnormalities revealed by the EEG. New methods will relieve the time-consuming and error-prone practices that are currently in use. Common signal processing methodologies include wavelet transformation and Fourier transformation, but these methods are not capable of managing the size of EEG data. Addressing the issue, this book examines new EEG signal analysis approaches with a combination of statistical techniques (e.g. random sampling, optimum allocation) and machine learning methods. The developed methods provide better results than the existing methods. The book also offers applications of the developedmethodologies that have been tested on several real-time benchmark databases. This book concludes with thoughts on the future of the field and anticipated research challenges. It gives new direction to the field of analysis and classification of EEG signals through these more efficient methodologies. Researchers and experts will benefit from its suggested improvements to the current computer-aided based diagnostic systems for the precise analysis and management of EEG signals.Health Information Science,2366-0996Signal processingMedical informaticsArtificial intelligenceBiomedical engineeringComputer visionApplication softwareSignal, Speech and Image ProcessingHealth InformaticsArtificial IntelligenceBiomedical Engineering and BioengineeringComputer VisionComputer and Information Systems ApplicationsSignal processing.Medical informatics.Artificial intelligence.Biomedical engineering.Computer vision.Application software.Signal, Speech and Image Processing.Health Informatics.Artificial Intelligence.Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering.Computer Vision.Computer and Information Systems Applications.530.82Siuly Siulyauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut933310Li Yanauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autZhang Yanchunauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910158672803321EEG Signal Analysis and Classification2100707UNINA
