Ypsilantis."Includes bibliographical references."The ELOISATRON (ELN) Project aims at a future proton supercollider with 100–500 TeV energy per beam and 1034–1036 cm–2s–1 luminosity. While the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is being implemented at CERN, it is very timely to study the feasibility of the next generation of hadron colliders at the extreme limits of energy and luminosity. In this respect, the achievement of extremely high magnetic fields and the production of accelerating rf cavities with very low losses are a crucial point in the actual construction design of such a collider. The search for superconducting materials with suitable properties to be used in this field has gained a new impulse after the discovery of the so-called high temperature superconducting compounds (HTSCs) with superconducting critical temperatures higher than 100 K. Besides the critical temperatures, the transport performances of this class of compounds are still very far from allowing applications in extremely high energy colliders. On the other hand, in the last few years, the technological and scientific improvements obtained for both the HTSCs and the conventional superconducting materials are very promising. This book reviews the recent status of R&D on the rising generation of superconducting materials for accelerator magnets and cavities, and discusses novel aspects and ideas in this domain."--Publisher's website.Science and culture series (Singapore).Physics ;20.SuperconductivityMaterialsCongressesSuperconductivityMaterials621.3/5Cifarelli L(Luisa),Maritato L(Luigi),MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910155544003321Superconducting materials for high energy colliders1057739UNINA00832cam0 22002653 450 TWSOB0000092720241010083434.020040203d1984 |||||ita|0103 baitaITPoetica e stile di Umberto SabaTeresa FerriUrbinoQuattroventi1984106 p.21 cmMateriali001SOBE000504442001 *MaterialiFerri, TeresaAF00014638070152420ITUNISOB20241010RICAUNISOBUNISOB85042497TWSOB00000927M 102 Monografia moderna SBNM850001147SI42497ACQUISTOrovitoUNISOBUNISOB20241010083421.020241010083434.0rovitoPoetica e stile di Umberto Saba133507UNISOB03927nam 22006375 450 991062727080332120251113194154.0981-19-0105-810.1007/978-981-19-0105-8(MiAaPQ)EBC7023493(Au-PeEL)EBL7023493(CKB)24094267300041(OCoLC)1336406037(DE-He213)978-981-19-0105-8(EXLCZ)992409426730004120220627d2023 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierProceedings of International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems COMSYS 2021 /edited by Subhadip Basu, Dipak Kumar Kole, Arnab Kumar Maji, Dariusz Plewczynski, Debotosh Bhattacharjee1st ed. 2023.Singapore :Springer Nature Singapore :Imprint: Springer,2023.1 online resource (601 pages)Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems,2367-3389 ;404Print version: Basu, Subhadip Proceedings of International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems Singapore : Springer,c2022 9789811901041 Includes bibliographical references and index.Experimental Face Recognition System using Deep Learning Approaches -- MultiNet: A Diffusion based Approach to Assign Directionality in Protein Interactions using a Consensus of Eight Protein Interaction Datasets -- An Irrigation Support System Using Regressor Assembly -- Does Random Hopping Ensure More Pandal Visits than Planned Pandal Hopping? -- Consensus-based Identification and Comparative Analysis of Structural Variants and their Influence on 3D Genome Structure using Long- and Short-read Sequencing Technologies in Polish Families -- On the Performance of Convolutional Neural Networks with Resizing and Padding -- Analysis of Vegetation Health of the Sundarbans Region using Remote Sensing Methods -- You Reap What You Sow - Revisiting Intra-class Variations and Seed Selection in Temporal Ensembling for Image Classification -- Light U-Net: Network Architecture for Outdoor Scene Semantic Segmentation -- Framework of Intelligent Transportation System: A Survey. This book gathers outstanding research papers presented at the 2nd International Conference on Frontiers in Computing and Systems (COMSYS 2021), organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Information Technology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India held during September 29–October 1, 2021.
