He asserts that WAC operation should reflect an academy characterized by multiple language communities--each with contextualized values, purposes, and forms for writing, and no single community's values superior to another's. Starting off with an examination of the core issue, that WAC should be promoting learning to write in the disciplines insteEnglish languageRhetoricStudy and teachingAcademic writingStudy and teaching (Higher)Interdisciplinary approach in educationLearning and scholarshipTerminologyLanguage and educationElectronic books.English languageRhetoricStudy and teaching.Academic writingStudy and teaching (Higher)Interdisciplinary approach in education.Learning and scholarshipLanguage and education.808/.042/0711Waldo Mark L913137MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910455882503321Demythologizing language difference in the academy2045597UNINA01721nam0 22003733i 450 VAN024452420231129032050.577N978303056305920220408d2021 |0itac50 baengCH|||| |||||Ammonothermal Synthesis and Crystal Growth of NitridesChemistry and Technologyeditors Elke Meissner, Rainer NiewaChamSpringer2021XX, 336 p.ill.24 cm001VAN00239902001 Springer series in materials science210 BerlinSpringer304CHChamVANL001889546Chimica inorganica22541Chimica fisica22620.11Materiali dell'ingegneria22620.1Scienze dei materiali22541.377Semiconduttori22MeissnerElkeVANV199682NiewaRainerVANV199683Springer <editore>VANV108073650ITSOL20240614RICA/sebina/repository/catalogazione/documenti/indice.pdfindice.pdfhttps://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-56305-9E-book - Accesso al full-text attraverso riconoscimento IP di Ateneo, proxy e/o ShibbolethBIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI SCIENZE E TECNOLOGIE AMBIENTALI BIOLOGICHE E FARMACEUTICHEIT-CE0101VAN17NVAN0244524BIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI SCIENZE E TECNOLOGIE AMBIENTALI BIOLOGICHE E FARMACEUTICHE17CONS e-book 2222 17BIB2222/83 83 20220408 Ammonothermal Synthesis and Crystal Growth of Nitrides2837886UNICAMPANIA06889nam 22008295 450 991014391270332120200702121833.03-540-45886-710.1007/3-540-45886-7(CKB)1000000000211691(SSID)ssj0000320980(PQKBManifestationID)11262199(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000320980(PQKBWorkID)10276807(PQKB)11712160(DE-He213)978-3-540-45886-9(MiAaPQ)EBC3073327(PPN)15520730X(EXLCZ)99100000000021169120121227d2002 u| 0engurnn|008mamaatxtccrAdvances in Information Retrieval 24th BCS-IRSG European Colloquium on IR Research Glasgow, UK, March 25-27, 2002 Proceedings /edited by Fabio Crestani, Mark Girolami, C.J.van Rijsbergen1st ed. 2002.Berlin, Heidelberg :Springer Berlin Heidelberg :Imprint: Springer,2002.1 online resource (XIII, 366 p.) This colloquium was established by the BCS IRSG(B- tish Computer Society Information Retrieval Specialist Group), and named the Annual Colloquium on Information Retrieval Research. Recently, the location of the colloquium has alternated between the United Kingdom and continental Europe. To re?ect the growing European orientation of the event, the colloquium was renamed “European Annual Colloquium on Information Retrieval Research” from 2001. Since the inception of the colloquium in 1979 the event has been hosted in the city of Glasgow on four separate occasions. However, this was the ?rst time that the organization of the colloquium had been jointly undertaken by three separate computer and information science departments; an indication of the collaborative nature and diversity of IR research within the universities of the West of Scotland. The organizers of ECIR 2002 saw a sharp increase in the number of go- quality submissions in answer to the call for papers over previous years and as such 52 submitted papers were each allocated 3 members of the program committee for double blind review of the manuscripts. A total of 23 papers were eventually selected for oral presentation at the colloquium in Glasgow which gave an acceptance rate of less than 45% and ensured a very high standard of the papers presented.Lecture Notes in Computer Science,0302-9743 ;2291Data structures (Computer science)Information storage and retrievalDatabase managementArtificial intelligenceApplication softwareNatural language processing (Computer science)Data Structures and Information Theoryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I15009Information Storage and Retrievalhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18032Database Managementhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18024Artificial Intelligencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000Information Systems Applications (incl.
