On ne pourra y échapper si on continue à penser et à piloter le monde en suivant les analyses des fondamentalistes du marché. C’est l’application de leur supposée expertise qui produit le délitement progressif des liens sociaux et la dégradation continue de la nature. Que faire ? Les convivialistes ouvrent une voie pour échapper à la pensée unique. Avec leur dissonance forte ils offrent des perspectives pour engager la revitalisation de la société au sein d’une nature préservée. Leur idée maîtresse est de réaménager les structures et le fonctionnement de la société en visant à ce que chacune, chacun, et tous ensemble nous puissions poursuivre ce qui est notre bien commun. C’est le coeur du projet convivialiste. Plus de 3 000 personnes se réclament déjà explicitement de ce courant de pensée critique en ayant apposé leur signature sur le site internet du mouvement convivialiste [http://lesconvivialistes.org]. Elles approuvent ainsi un Manifeste convivialiste rédigé par une soixantaine d’auteurs, essayistes et universitaires, et appuyé, dès que publié, par plus d’une centaine d’autres intellectuels. Les analyses de la reconstruction de la société sont menées ici par des spécialistes reconnus dans leur domaine, de manière transdisciplinaire et ouverte à la délibération avec la société civique. Elles portent sur la reconstruction théorique du politique et de l’économique et sur les pratiques transformatrices déjà en cours dans nos sociétés. Il y a là des outils qui permettent de s’extirper du carcan de la pensée unique et des sentiers tracés par le modèle néolibéral. L’ouvrage nourrit ainsi une réflexion dissidente et offre une référence pour construire et prendre le chemin de traverse qui mène à une société conviviale.
