This collected volume represents the final outcome of the COST Action IS1104 “The EU in the new complex geography of economic systems: models, tools and policy evaluation”. Visualizing the EU as a complex and multi-layered network, the book is organized in three parts, each of them dealing with a different level of analysis: At the macro-level, Part I considers the interactions within large economic systems (regions or countries) involving trade, workers migration, and other factor movements. At the meso-level, Part II discusses interactions within specific but wide-ranging markets, with a focus on financial markets and banking systems. Lastly, at the micro-level, Part III explores the decision-making of single firms, especially in the context of location decisions.Springer Proceedings in Complexity,2213-8684SociophysicsEconophysicsRegional economicsSpatial economicsMacroeconomicsIndustrial organizationEuropean Economic Community literatureEconomic theoryData-driven Science, Modeling and Theory Buildinghttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P33030Regional/Spatial Sciencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W49000Macroeconomics/Monetary Economics//Financial Economicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W32000Industrial Organizationhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W31010European Integrationhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W33010Economic Theory/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Methodshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W29000economic geographycomplex networks analysisspatial econometricsCOST Action IS1104systemic riskheterogeneous agentsmultinational enterprisesSociophysics.Econophysics.Regional economics.Spatial economics.Macroeconomics.Industrial organization.European Economic Community literature.Economic theory.Data-driven Science, Modeling and Theory Building.Regional/Spatial Science.Macroeconomics/Monetary Economics//Financial Economics.Industrial Organization.European Integration.Economic Theory/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Methods.621Pasquale Commendatoreauth1355474Commendatore Pasqualeedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtKubin Ingridedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtBougheas Spirosedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtKirman Alanedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtKopel Michaeledthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtBischi Gian Italoedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910231246903321The Economy as a Complex Spatial System3359575UNINA02634oam 2200613zu 450 991013746830332120210807002231.02-940415-28-510.4000/books.iheid.245(CKB)3170000000061007(SSID)ssj0001537341(PQKBManifestationID)11869894(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001537341(PQKBWorkID)11513226(PQKB)10158078(WaSeSS)IndRDA00044738(FrMaCLE)OB-iheid-245(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/47156(PPN)182826465(oapen)doab47156(EXLCZ)99317000000006100720160829d2010 uy engur|||||||||||txtccrThe evolving patterns of lebanese politics in post-Syria Lebanon : the perceptions of Hizballah among members of the Free Patriotic MovementGraduate Institute Publications2010[Place of publication not identified]Graduate Institute Publications20101 online resource (65 pages)eCahiers de l'Institut ;Number 4Bibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph2-940415-66-8 Includes bibliographical references. This work aims to shed light on the evolution of the Lebanese political arena after the withdrawal of Syrian troops in April 2005 by analyzing the perceptions of Hizballah among members of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), as the alliance between the two groups enters its fourth year. Hizballah is generally well portrayed among FPM members although the two constituencies have very few elements in common. Different backgrounds, confessions, political views and cultural traits distinguish them.Government - Non-U.SHILCCLaw, Politics & GovernmentHILCCGovernment - AsiaHILCCgeopoliticsculture religion and identityconflict security and peacebuildingUnited Nation Security CouncilreligiongovernanceGovernment - Non-U.S.Law, Politics & GovernmentGovernment - AsiaIlias Fouad927651PQKBBOOK9910137468303321The evolving patterns of lebanese politics in post-Syria Lebanon : the perceptions of Hizballah among members of the Free Patriotic Movement2084137UNINA
