Studies in Big Data,2197-6503 ;52981-13-6088-X 1. Introduction -- 2. Host-based Intrusion Detection System -- 3. Network-based Intrusion Detection System -- 4. Data Security and Storage Module in Cloud -- 5. Conclusions and Research Direction. This book analyses the various security threats in cloud computing. A host-based IDS (HIDS) using signature verification is developed and implemented for the concerned security issues. Further, owing to the vulnerability of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in cloud computing, a network based IDS (NIDS) is developed and implemented against such attacks. The performance of these IDS is verified in the Cloud scenario as well against the standard data set. Finally, a simple data storage and security model is developed and implemented for the Cloud computing scenario. The contents of this book will be of interest to researchers and professionals alike.Studies in Big Data,2197-6503 ;52TelecommunicationComputer securityBig dataCommunications Engineering, Networkshttp://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/T24035Systems and Data Securityhttp://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/I28060Big Datahttp://scigraph.springernature.com/things/product-market-codes/I29120Telecommunication.Computer security.Big data.Communications Engineering, Networks.Systems and Data Security.Big Data.621.382Deshpande Prachi Sauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut1424730Sharma Subhash Cauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autPeddoju Sateesh Kauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autBOOK9910741183803321Security and Data Storage Aspect in Cloud Computing3554198UNINA01675nam0 22003853i 450 LO1009387620231121125515.08842039934IT92-8102 20150824d1992 ||||0itac50 baitaitaitz01i xxxe z01nDa Talete a PlatoneErnst Cassirera cura di Gian Antonio De ToniRomaBariLaterza1992XIX, 199 p.21 cmBiblioteca universale Laterza373Contiene, in traduzione italiana: Die Philosophie der Griechen von den Anfangen bis Platon ; Logos, Dike, Kosmos in der Entwicklung der griechischen PhilosophieSegue: Appendice.001CFI00022682001 Biblioteca universale Laterza373Die philosophie der Griechen von den Anfangen bis PlatonPAL0327610CFIV0108333608002Filosofia grecaOriginiSec. 4 a.C.FIRRMLC405629I180Filosofia antica, medievale, orientale.21Cassirer, ErnstCFIV01083307045625De Toni, Gian AntonioCFIV054532De Toni, GiannantonioCFIV117021De Toni, Gian AntonioITIT-0120150824IT-FR0017 Biblioteca umanistica Giorgio ApreaFR0017 NLO10093876Biblioteca umanistica Giorgio Aprea 52MAG 2 Coll B 373 52FSS0000076945 VMB RS A 2020060820200608 52Die philosophie der Griechen von den Anfangen bis Platon3608002UNICAS04882nam 22006853 450 991076759760332120241008192153.01-912808-94-3(CKB)5580000000709701(MiAaPQ)EBC31612172(Au-PeEL)EBL31612172(oapen)doab132018(OCoLC)1453726679(EXLCZ)99558000000070970120240825d2023 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierFernando Ortiz Caribbean and Mediterranean Counterpoints1st ed.HAU Books2023Chicago :Hawoo Publishing Company,2023.©2023.1 online resource (523 pages)Classics in Ethnographic Theory Series1-912808-92-7 Introduction: Caribbean and Mediterranean counterpoints and transculturations / Stephan Palmié -- Balearic beginnings. Caribbean-Mediterranean counterpoint / Charles Stewart.Fernando Ortiz (1881-1969) coined the term "transculturation" in 1940. This was an early case of theory from the South: concepts developed from an explicitly peripheral epistemological vantage point and launched as a corrective to European and North American theoretical formulations. What Ortiz proposed was a contrapuntal vision of complexly entangled processes that we, today, would conceptualize as cultural emergence. Inspired by Ortiz, this volume engineers an unprecedented conversation between Mediterraneanists and Caribbeanists. It harnesses Ortiz's mid-twentieth-century theoretical formulations to early twenty-first-century issues pertinent to both regions, including migration, territorial sovereignty, and cultural diversity. The contributors explore this perspective (arguably formed during Ortiz's youth in late nineteenth-century Menorca) in a dialogue between scholars of the contemporary Caribbean and Mediterranean to enable novel analytics for both regions and to more broadly to probe the promises and limits of Ortiz's contribution for contemporary anthropological research and theorizing --Source other than Library of Congress.Classics in Ethnographic Theory SeriesAnthropologyCaribbean AreaAnthropologyMediterranean RegionCultural fusionAnthropologieCaraïbes (Région)Double appartenance (Sciences sociales)AnthropologyfastCivilizationfastCaribbean AreaCivilizationMediterranean RegionCivilizationMéditerranée, Région de laCivilisationCaribbean AreafastMediterranean RegionfastAnthropologyAnthropologyCultural fusion.AnthropologieDouble appartenance (Sciences sociales)Anthropology.Civilization.972.9Palmié Stephan976615Palmié StephanMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910767597603321Fernando Ortiz4207065UNINA
