Leading professionals provide assessment and intervention approaches based on a cognitive-behavioral framework, with specific sensitivity given to the unique needs of youth within the context of school and family. Including both innovative and well-established approaches to working with children and adolescents in schools, this text offers interventions for a variety of issues and concerns faced by school-aged youth. The use of case studies and session outlines, as well as the balance of theoretical and clinical concerns, enhances this book's value as a reference for both clinicians and students."--Provided by publisher.School psychologyHandbooks, manuals, etcCognitive therapy for childrenHandbooks, manuals, etcBehavior modificationHandbooks, manuals, etcElectronic books.School psychologyCognitive therapy for childrenBehavior modification370.15/28Christner Ray W.1972-923364Freeman Arthur1942-203304Mennuti Rosemary B.1947-923365MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910457946403321Cognitive-behavioral interventions in educational settings2072186UNINA03417nam 22006973u 450 99646683630331620230221124442.03-030-82167-6(CKB)5590000000629725EBL6796477(OCoLC)1319215521(AU-PeEL)EBL6796477(MiAaPQ)EBC6796477(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/72818(PPN)258296771(EXLCZ)99559000000062972520220617d2021|||| u|| |engur|n|---|||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierPhysics of Earth's Radiation Belts[electronic resource] Theory and ObservationsCham Springer International Publishing AG20211 online resource (286 p.)Astronomy and Astrophysics LibraryDescription based upon print version of record.3-030-82166-8 This open access book serves as textbook on the physics of the radiation belts surrounding the Earth. Discovered in 1958 the famous Van Allen Radiation belts were among the first scientific discoveries of the Space Age. Throughout the following decades the belts have been under intensive investigation motivated by the risks of radiation hazards they expose to electronics and humans on spacecraft in the Earth’s inner magnetosphere. This textbook teaches the field from basic theory of particles and plasmas to observations which culminated in the highly successful Van Allen Probes Mission of NASA in 2012-2019. Using numerous data examples the authors explain the relevant concepts and theoretical background of the extremely complex radiation belt region, with the emphasis on giving a comprehensive and coherent understanding of physical processes affecting the dynamics of the belts. The target audience are doctoral students and young researchers who wish to learn about the physical processes underlying the acceleration, transport and loss of the radiation belt particles in the perspective of the state-of-the-art observations.Astronomy and Astrophysics LibraryPhysics of Earthâs Radiation Belts Physics of Earth's Radiation BeltsGeophysicsbicsscPlasma physicsbicsscAstronomy, space & timebicsscAerospace & aviation technologybicsscEarth sciencesbicsscEarth's radiation beltsVan Allen beltscharged particle motion in Earth’s magnetospheresources and losses of radiation belt particleswhistler mode chorusplasmaspheric hisselectromagnetic ion cyclotron waveswave-particle interactionsPc5 wavesopen accessGeophysicsPlasma physicsAstronomy, space & timeAerospace & aviation technologyEarth sciencesKoskinen Hannu E.
