This special issue of the journal focuses on the topic of modeling methodologies. It starts with a position paper by the guest editors, entitled Biomodel Engineering - from Structure to Behavior, which is followed by the technical contributions covering a broad range of modeling methodologies. Two papers focus on new modeling languages, and these are followed by an article presenting a case study demonstrating the value of the qualitative network approach. With the remaining three contributions, the special issue leaves the area of qualitative modeling, to move toward quantitative programming with the BlenX language and the application of more theoretical process calculi.Transactions on Computational Systems Biology,1861-2075 ;5945BioinformaticsComputer simulationComputersArtificial intelligenceAlgorithmsMathematical statisticsComputational Biology/Bioinformaticshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I23050Simulation and Modelinghttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I19000Computation by Abstract Deviceshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16013Artificial Intelligencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexityhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021Probability and Statistics in Computer Sciencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I17036Bioinformatics.Computer simulation.Computers.Artificial intelligence.Algorithms.Mathematical statistics.Computational Biology/Bioinformatics.Simulation and Modeling.Computation by Abstract Devices.Artificial Intelligence.Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity.Probability and Statistics in Computer Science.570.285SS 4800rvkPriami Corrado1236801BOOK996465305103316Transactions on Computational Systems Biology XII2871547UNISA02188nam2 22003973i 450 SBL055302020231121125826.0IT669168 20070913d1966 ||||0itac50 baitaitaitz01i xxxe z01n˜1: œMagnati e popolani in Firenze dal 1280 al 1295Gaetano Salveminia cura di Ernesto SestanMilanoFeltrinelli1966XLI, 258 p., [1] carta di tav.ill.23 cmTitolo sviluppato: Magnati e popolani in Firenze dal milleduecentottanta al milleduecentonovantacinque.UTO1302210001SBL04624532001 ˜1: œScritti di storia medievaleGaetano Salveminia cura di Ernesto Sestan1702 1Sestan, ErnestoCFIV022782340700 1Salvemini, Gaetano <1873-1957>CFIV046465Magnati e popolani in Firenze dal 1280 al 1295PAR1276271CFIV046465155219Magnati e popolani in Firenze dal milleduecentottanta al milleduecentonovantacinque.UTO1302210FIRENZECONDIZIONI POLITICHE E SOCIALI1280-1295FIRMILC157396I945.5044Toscana.
