But tensions between orthodoxy and heresy that were inherent in monotheism broke the unitary empires of Byzantium and Baghdad into the looser, more pluralistic commonwealths of Eastern Christendom and Islam. With rare breadth of vision, Fowden traces this transition from empire to commonwealth, and in the process exposes the sources of major cultural contours that still play a determining role in Europe and southwest Asia.ACLS Humanities E-Book.Cywilizacja islamska622-1258jhpkReligia i kulturajhpkMonoteizmjhpkRzym (państwo)cywilizacjajhpkBizantyjskie, CesarstwocywilizacjajhpkElectronic books.Abbasids.Arabia, southern.Baghdad.Buddhism.Caliphate.Cappadocia.Diocletian, Roman emperor.Edessa.Ethiopia.Ghassanid Arabs.Goths.Himyar.Iberia (Eastern Georgia).Indian Ocean.Islamic Empire.Jerusalem.Julian, Roman emperor.Kebra Nagast.Khusrau I, Sasanian emperor.Manichaeism.Mazdaism.Najran.Nestorianism.Ottomans.Romano-Iranian relations.Sasanian Empire.Spain.Umayyads.Zarathushtra.commonwealth.polytheism.Cywilizacja islamskaReligia i kultura.Monoteizm.949.501Fowden Garth442889Princeton University Press.pblMdBmJHUPMdBmJHUPBOOK996248053803316Empire to commonwealth750911UNISA02263nam0 22005053i 450 VAN024871920230529125603.508N978303054946620220727d2020 |0itac50 baengCH|||| |||||Arithmetic TalesAdvanced EditionOlivier Bordellèstransl. from the french by Véronique Bordellès2. edChamSpringer2020xix, 782 p.ill.24 cm001VAN00245062001 Universitext210 Berlin [etc]Springer1930-VAN0248720Thèmes d’arithmétique290242111-XXNumber theory [MSC 2020]VANC019688MF11RxxAlgebraic number theory: global fields [MSC 2020]VANC019690MF11AxxElementary number theory [MSC 2020]VANC019694MF11NxxMultiplicative number theory [MSC 2020]VANC020461MF11L07Estimates on exponential sums [MSC 2020]VANC021824MF11LxxExponential sums and character sums [MSC 2020]VANC021897MFAlgebraic number theoryKW:KAnalytic Number TheoryKW:KArithmetical functionsKW:KDedekind zeta functionKW:KDirichlet L-functionKW:KDistribution of prime numbersKW:KExponential sumsKW:KLattice points exponent pairsKW:KMultiplicative number theoryKW:KCHChamVANL001889BordellèsOlivierVANV203544517601BordellèsVéroniqueVANV203545730Springer <editore>VANV108073650ITSOL20240614RICAhttp://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-54946-6E-book – Accesso al full-text attraverso riconoscimento IP di Ateneo, proxy e/o ShibbolethBIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI MATEMATICA E FISICAIT-CE0120VAN08NVAN0248719BIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI MATEMATICA E FISICA08CONS e-book 4569 08eMF4569 20220727 Thèmes d’arithmétique2902421UNICAMPANIA
