It can be declined in many ways, and several functionalities arising from this behavior of materials can be exploited, all leading to positive repercussions on our environment. There are several classes of effects of photoactivity, all of which have been deeply investigated in the last few decades, allowing to develop more and more efficient materials and devices. All of them share a common point, that is, the interaction of a material with light, although many different materials are taken into account depending on the effect desired—from elemental semiconductors like silicon, to more complex compounds like CdTe or GaAs, to metal oxides like TiO2 and ZnO. Given the broadness of the field, a huge number of works fall within this topic, and new areas of discovery are constantly explored. The special issue “Novel Photoactive Materials” has been proposed as a means to present recent developments in the field, and for this reason the articles included touch different aspects of photoactivity, from photocatalysis to photovoltaics to light emitting materials.photo-oxidationsilver phosphatelow power white-light LED irradiationartificial raindensity functional theory (DFT)degradationphotocatalytichybrid nanomaterialsband gap modificationphotodepositionperovskite solar celltitanium oxidetitanium(IV) oxo-clustersphoto-oxidative degradationconfocal microscopecomposite materials4-chlorophenolanodizingbroadband spectraphotoactivitydurabilitybio-based substancesphoto Fentoncrystallinitynanostructured materialshydrothermalTiO2advanced oxidation processescharge dynamicsmechanical propertyCH3</NH3</PbI3metal-halides perovskitesDFT calculationssol-gelcaffeineCuxO-ZnO catalystwater-repellencyphotocatalysisstone protectionsurfactantphotovoltaicsphotoluminescencehydrothermal synthesisUV ageingFe/N-TiO2visible-lightrhodamine Balkylalkoxysilaneelectron transport materialorganometalmagnetic materialstitanium dioxideZnOorganic light emitting diodes (OLEDs)tolueneTiO2 nanoparticlesDiamanti Maria Vittoriaauth1287867BOOK9910346685703321Novel Photoactive Materials3020500UNINA02468nam0 2200493 i 450 VAN0011345620240806100748.882N978331916877720180110d2015 |0itac50 baengCH|||| |||||Heavy-tailed distributions and robustness in economics and financeMarat Ibragimov, Rustam Ibragimov, Johan Walden[Cham]Springer2015XIV, 119 p.ill.24 cm001VAN000019572001 Lecture notes in statistics210 New York [etc.]Springer1980-214VAN00235049Heavy-tailed distributions and robustness in economics and finance152261262-XXStatistics [MSC 2020]VANC022998MF62G32Statistics of extreme values; tail inference [MSC 2020]VANC031446MF62G35Nonparametric robustness [MSC 2020]VANC033630MF62P20Applications of statistics to economics [MSC 2020]VANC026444MF91-XXGame theory, economics, finance, and other social and behavioral sciences [MSC 2020]VANC025601MF91B05Risk models (general) [MSC 2020]VANC019981MF91B24Microeconomic theory (price theory and economic markets) [MSC 2020]VANC025065MF91G70Statistical methods; risk measures [MSC 2020]VANC030929MFDiversificationKW:KEconometricsKW:KFinancial marketsKW:KHeavy-Tailed distributionKW:KInsurance marketsKW:KRisk managementKW:KCHChamVANL001889IbragimovMaratVANV087570755584IbragimovRustanVANV087571755585WaldenJohanVANV087572755586Springer <editore>VANV108073650ITSOL20250221RICAhttp://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-16877-7E-book – Accesso al full-text attraverso riconoscimento IP di Ateneo, proxy e/o ShibbolethBIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI MATEMATICA E FISICAIT-CE0120VAN08NVAN00113456BIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI MATEMATICA E FISICA08DLOAD e-book 0238 08eMF238 20180110 Heavy-tailed distributions and robustness in economics and finance1522612UNICAMPANIA
