This book provides detailed information on the surface and surface chemistry of various biointerfaces for the understanding and development of biosensors, biocompatible devices, and drug delivery systems. It highlights the role of interfacial phenomena towards the behaviour of biomolecules on different surfaces and their significance in recent applications. The book also addresses various surface engineering techniques for the modification of biomaterials that are implemented for improving biocompatibility. It provides an updated scientific concept of various interactions of biological systems with surfaces/modified surfaces at the molecular and cellular level. Nelle imprese a struttura familiare le donne sono state protagoniste non formali, ma rilevanti delle attività di tipo imprenditoriale. Per lungo tempo, infatti, esse hanno assolto funzioni fondamentali tanto nella divisione e nell'assegnazione di mansioni di responsabilità, quanto nei meccanismi di finanziamento e di autofinanziamento delle aziende. Esse hanno contribuito così allo sviluppo dell'economia italiana con competenza sfatando molti luoghi comuni e di genere sull'attività imprenditoriale delle donne. Come rivelano le numerose storie raccolte in questo volume, le imprenditrici italiane hanno dimostrato di saper utilizzare risorse, conoscenze e specializzazioni alla testa d'imprese che si sono affermate in settori produttivi diversi - dalla metalmeccanica alla moda, dalla chimica ai servizi, all'agricoltura. Negli ultimi decenni alcune figure e modelli di manager e imprenditrici di successo, nonché le associazioni professionali e d'imprenditoria femminili, hanno dato un apporto determinante all'affermazione di una nuova e moderna identità imprenditoriale delle donne. |
