Der Autor liefert einen mit wissenschaftlichen Methoden erarbeiteten Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Bundesverkehrswegeplanung insbesondere unter raumordnerischen Aspekten. Als Ergebnis wird schrittweise dargestellt, wie unter Einsatz der Business Intelligence Software Tableau regionales Data Mining mit Verkehrsstatistiken durchgeführt werden kann. Durch die Kombination von Input-Output-Rechnung und Verkehrsverflechtungsprognose werden neue wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse gewonnen und für die Praxis anwendertauglich gemacht. Mit der Entwicklung des Transportstrom-Visualisierungs-Modells (TraViMo) gelingt es dem Autor im Zeitalter von Big Data ein Instrument zu entwickeln, welches große Datenmengen für die Allgemeinheit sichtbar, verständlich und nutzbar |
