Services and protocol elements that permit the exchange of management information between stations attached to ISO/IEC standard local and metropolitan area networks are defined.The standard includes the specification of managed objects that permit the operation of the protocolelements to be remotely managed. In addition, an architecture for station discovery and the dynamiccontrol of event forwarding is defined. Services and protocols that support station discovery andthe dynamic control of event forwarding are defined. (Incorporating ANSI/IEEE Stds 802.1B-1992 and 802.1k-1993). |

Welche Bedeutung haben Wunderkammern heute? Und wie können sie zum Verständnis der Gegenwart beitragen? In zeitgenössischer künstlerischer Praxis wird für die Beschreibung des Anthropozäns heute ein kulturelles Wissen aktualisiert, das sich bereits in Wunderkammern des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts materialisiert. Nina-Marie Schüchter analysiert die auf historische Wunderkammern rekurrierenden Praktiken des Sammelns, Ordnens und Zeigens in der Gegenwartskunst und etabliert für die sich daraus ableitende künstlerische Praxis den Neologismus »wunderkammern«. Damit macht sie künstlerisches Wissen zur kritischen Reflexion der Gegenwart modellhaft sowie konzeptuell nachvollziehbar und leistet einen Beitrag zur visuellen Aufklärung unserer Zeit. |
