Im Jahr 2011 beteiligte sich Deutschland zum zweiten Mal an der Grundschuluntersuchung Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2011). Mit TIMSS werden alle vier Jahre die Fachleistungen von Schülerinnen und Schülern der vierten Jahrgangsstufe in den Bereichen Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften im internationalen Vergleich untersucht. An TIMSS 2011 waren - neben Deutschland - weltweit 56 Staaten und Regionen mit Schülerinnen und Schülern der vierten Jahrgangsstufe beteiligt. In diesem Band werden die Ergebnisse der Grundschuluntersuchung von TIMSS 2011 für die deutsche Bildungsdiskussion erschlossen. letzten Jahre in Deutschland besonders geprägt haben. Die mathematischen und naturwissenschaftlichen Kompetenzen der Grundschulkinder werden anhand von zentralen Merkmalen wie soziale Herkunft, Migrationsstatus, Geschlecht und Lehr- und Lernbedingungen analysiert. Im Jahr 2011 wurde TIMSS gemeinsam mit ihrer Schwesterstudie der Internationalen Grundschul-Lese-Untersuchung (IGLU 2011) durchgeführt. In diesem Band werden erste Ergebnisse einer gemeinsamen Auswertung von Zusammenhängen der drei erfassten Kompetenzbereiche Leseverständnis (IGLU), Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften (TIMSS) untersucht und kompetenzübergreifende Leistungsprofile von Schülerinnen und Schülern am Ende der Grundschulzeit beschrieben. Durch eine differenzierte Betrachtung von Schülerleistungen und die zusätzliche Berücksichtigung curricularer Vorgaben und anderer zentraler Rahmenbedingungen schulischer Lernumgebungen bietet die TIMS-Studie einen detaillierten Blick auf die Leistungsfähigkeit der Grundschulsysteme der verschiedenen Teilnehmerstaaten und Regionen. Dies ermöglicht deutschlandweit neue bildungspolitische und curricular-didaktische Folgerungen und Perspektiven. Der vorliegende Bericht wendet sich somit an eine breite Leserschaft, die an bildungspolitischen, pädagogischen und fachdidaktischen Fragestellungen interessiert ist. |
Zusammen mit den ebenfalls im Jahre 2012 im gleichen Verlag veröffentlichten Ergebnissen der jüngsten internationalen Vergleichsstudie [...] (TIMSS 2011; Bos, Wendt, Köhler & Selter, 2012) - für Deutschland dieselbe Stichprobe - sowie des IQB-Ländervergleichs 2011 der Kompetenzen von Schülerinnen und Schülern am Ende der vierten Jahrgangsstufe in den Fächern Deutsch und Mathematik (Stanat, Pant, Böhme & Richter, 2012) haben wir für hiesige Schüler [...] eine breite und aktuelle Bestandsaufaufnahme der Kernkompetenzen und von sie beeinflussenden Faktoren. This open access book constitutes the 6 research workshops, the Agile Education and Training Track, the Doctoral Symposium, as well as a panel presented at XP 2020, the 21st International Conference on Agile Software Development, which was held during June 8-12, 2020. The conference was planned to take place at the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the conference was held online.
