Aujourd'hui plus que jamais, la région bruxelloise est au centre de l'actualité. Depuis dix ans, seules des réponses partielles ou provisoires ont été apportées aux problèmes de son avenir.  Pourra-t-on toujours s'en satisfaire ? Le présent ouvrage rassemble diverses analyses scientifiques effectuées par le Séminaire dÉconomie et de Droit de l'Entreprise des Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis à Bruxelles et le Fonds d'Études sur le Droit des Communautés et des Régions de l'Université catholique de Louvain.  Ces recherches portent sur l'évolution de l'économie régionale bruxelloise, mais elles éclairent aussi les tentatives Institutionnelles menées pour définir la place de cette région dans la réforme définitive de l'État.  Grâce à un diagnostic réaliste, ces diverses contributions s'attachent à décrire de manière objective les nouveaux défis et jettent les bases d'un véritable dialogue...
