La Llei 19/2014, de 29 de desembre, de transparència, accés a la informació pública i bon govern està cridada a tenir un paper clau en el funcionament de les administracions públiques catalanes i en les seves relacions amb la ciutadania.El llibre analitza la regulació de les obligacions de transparència activa, el dret d'accés a la informació pública i els mecanismes previstos per a la seva garantia, el registre dels grups d'interès, el bon govern i la bona administració i el govern obert. El llibre també contextualitza la nova regulació en el marc dels processos de regeneració democràtica impulsats en els darrers anys i en el conjunt de normes tant estatals com d'altres comunitats autònomes.
