With a preliminary order to print, dated: 27⁰ Julii. 1642.

A variant has: "publike" on lines 9,10 of title page; "publishid" on line 13; "Rober Bostock" in the imprint; and the epistle is reset in italic. Apparently another edition exists which has a fleurs de lys border and reset type throughout (except for sheet G). Composite copies also exist. Cf. Jeffs. The English revolution, v.3, p.5.

Annotation on Thomason copy: "August ye 11th".
