Edward Sexby and Silius Titus are actually authors of this work published under the name William Allen. Allen, adjutant-general of the army in Ireland, was, like Sexby, a trooper in Cromwell's own regiment and was one of the agitators elected in 1647. -- Cf. C.H. Firth, "Killing no murder," in English historical review, v. 17 (1902), pp. 308ff.

Leaf A2 bears a mock "dedication" to Oliver Cromwell.

Wing incorrectly reports "noe" in title.
