Note generali

Excerpts of letters from Sir Thomas Bendish and Henry Hyde, and one excerpt from Charles II, given on 19 September 1649. Letters attempt to distance Bendish from Hyde, who was beheaded in 1651 on charges of high treason.  Publication date conjectured by Bendish's need to distance himself   from Hyde's political troubles. British Library catalog (OPAC 97) gives date [1660?].
