Includes on A2v-A3v, "By the King. A proclamation, by His Majestie, requiring the aid and assistance of all his subjects on the north-side Trent" (caption title), dated on A3v "York the twelfth day of August, ... 1642". Also includes on A4, "His Majesties message to the House of Commons. From the court at York the thirteenth of August 1642" (caption title). Both proclamations were also issued separately (Wing C2575 and C2698); the message to the Commons apparently was not issued separately.
