Distanz zur NS-Zeit aufgrund der polit.Einstellung der Berichtenden und 2. Kenntnis der Verhältnisse vor Ort. Die meisten Schilderungen aus dieser Zeit stammen von Ausländern. Es existiert wenig Forschungsmaterial über diesen Zeitraum, das von Deutschen verfaßt wurde.
