|
Savanna Thompson sabe que a vida pode mudar num piscar de olhos. Ela escondeu o divórcio da melhor amiga Cassie, mas sabe que não o pode esconder durante mais tempo. O marido de Cassie que era bombeiro acabou de morrer. E ela está de volta para casa com a filha de um ano para ajudar a amiga, e agora esta na casa de Cassie, num quarto de bébé que nunca vai existir. Ela quer reatar a amizade com Cassie, mas é complicado com o Jason por perto. Ele é o bombeiro que lhe salvou a vida há dois anos e meio. E acabou de perder o melhor amigo, e a Cassie considera-o responsável pela morte de Mike. Mas como é que podia adivinhar que ele iria morreu num incêndio de uma casa, quando convenceu o Mike a continuar nos bombeiros? Apesar de a magoar, alguma coisa dentro dela não a deixa ir embora. O Jason precisa dela, mas ela está tão distante dele em tantos níveis. Está a apaixonar-se por este bombeiro sexy, mas ele confunde-a a tantos níveis.
