Questo libro propone una lettura del più lungo e importante trattato di Dionigi l'Areopagita "Sui nomi divini" da un punto di vista filosofico, piuttosto che da un punto di vista teologico. Più in particolare, propone un'interpretazione della sconcertante struttura del trattato che prende le mosse da precedenti interpretazioni degli studiosi medievali e moderni. La nuova lettura del testo raggiunge più coerenza di quanto non abbiano fatto proprio a causa dell'angolo filosofico, che dovrebbe servire da complemento, non alternativa, alle interpretazioni teologiche e storiche. |
