Sommario/riassunto |

The field of Animal-Computer Interaction has become increasingly established in the research world since the first discussions at CHI2012 seven years ago. Funding agencies have supported ACI research, and ACI-focused work has received considerable media attention. As a result, many new organizations have joined the ACI community and have begun making significant contributions to our body of knowledge. ACI researchers have a variety of interests and bring a myriad of backgrounds to the field. Disciplines range from traditional human-computer interaction and user experience experts, engineers, and interaction designers; to animal behaviorists, biologists, zoologists, husbandry experts, animal trainers, and veterinarians. The ACI conference serves to bring these disparate fields together to find a common ground towards a shared goal: to explore the possibilities and potential of animal-computer interaction. |
