Note generali

Based on an earlier work by Roger of Wendover also known as "Flores historiarum", probably based in turn on an earlier St. Albans chronicle. Cf. Vaughan, Richard.  Matthew Paris (Cambridge, 1958).

Vitæ duorum Offanorum has a separate title page dated 1683; pagination is continuous. The authorship of Vitae duorum Offarum is uncertain, only part, if any, is by Paris--NUC pre-1956 imprints.

Matthæi Parisiensis Additamenta has a separate title page dated 1682; pagination is continuous.

Edited by William Watts.

With marginal notes.

Includes indexes.
