The first treatise, by William Cecil, Lord Burghley, was originally



published with title "The execution of iustice in England for maintenaunce of publique and Christian peace." The second treatise, by William Watson in collaboration with other priests, was first published with title "Important considerations which ought to move all true and sound Catholikes." The third treatise was first published anonymously. The last two pieces are Catholic attacks on Jesuits.
