The imprint date is made with turned C's.

Another state of the edition with imprint giving George Bishop as publisher. According to Fredson Bowers, "Principles" (p. 57), leaf [fleuron]1 was printed with the Norton title page and A6 with the Bishop title page. However, STC says that both of these are reissues of the edition with both names in the imprint (STC 18173.5), so the relationships are still not certain.

A second part was published the next year.
