In two parts. Part 2 has a separately dated title page (dated 1587; part 2, "I"8v dated 1578) reading "Brevissima institutio, seu ratio grammatices cognoscendæ".

The last quire has "Nominum interpretatio", with the first two leaves signed "M" and the third "I". The outer sheet of this quire, including the 1578 colophon, probably belongs to an edition following the pattern of STC 15620--STC.
