The pamphlets referred to were the anonymous "L'histoire de la mort que le R.P. Edmond Campion .. & autres ont souffert en Angleterre", and "A true reporte of the death & martyrdome of M. Campion Jesuite and preiste, & M. Sherwin, & M. Bryan priestes, at Tiborne the first of December 1581" by Thomas Alfield.
