Originally published in 1664 as "The young mans monitor".

"A later edition (1685) was issued under the initials of S.C.  The young man's calling is another edition of Crossman's Young man's monitor, with the title altered.  In the D.N.B. it is wrongly given to Nathaniel Crouch, who edited the 1685 edition"--Halkett & Laing.

"Remarks upon the lives of several excellent young persons" and "The young-man's divine meditations" have special title pages.
