È una rivista interdisciplinare che pubblica ricerche originali che coprono tutti gli aspetti dei materiali, ingegneria, chimica, fisica e biologia rilevanti per la conversione e lo stoccaggio dell'energia. La rivista è dedicata a rapporti di ricerche sperimentali e teoriche nuove e originali di natura applicata che integrano le conoscenze nei settori dei materiali, ingegneria, fisica, bioscienza e chimica in importanti applicazioni energetiche. Esempi di argomenti di ricerca che abbracciano l'ambito della rivista sono i materiali per lo stoccaggio di energia tra cui batterie, supercondensatori e batterie a flusso redox, elettrodi per celle a combustibile, catalizzatori, membrane e celle a biocarburanti, materiali per celle solari, inclusi materiali inorganici, ibridi e organici, materiali termoelettrici, combustibile solare materiali e processi, nuovi approcci alla sintesi di materiali nuovi ed esistenti per l'immagazzinamento e la conversione dell'energia, materiali per la conversione dell'energia e materiali elettrocromici e termocromici. |
