|
Living in a low-lying and densely populated country on the front line of climate change, Bangladeshis are taking a lead in adapting to rising temperatures and campaigning to limit climate change. Global warming will worsen this country's existing environmental problems - causing a rise in sea level, more flooding and stronger, more damaging cyclones.<BR><BR>Bangladeshis know what is coming, and how to respond, because they are already effectively combating environmental and social challenges. Cyclone shelters and warning systems have cut the fatality rate dramatically; new varieties of rice have raised nutrition levels; women's education has slowed population growth; land is being raised to respond to sea level rise. Bangladeshis will keep their heads above water, but at huge costs. Will the industrialised countries curb their greenhouse gas emissions and pay for the damage they have already done? |

Journal of Clinical Interventional Radiology (JCIR) is the official journal of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR). JCIR is a peer-reviewed, Open Access, online and print journal that supports the science and practice of interventional radiology worldwide. The aim of this journal is to enhance the knowledge of medical practitioners in the field of interventional radiology. It aims to give priority to the dissemination of original research work in the field of interventional radiology that can potentially impact patient care and outcomes. It also seeks to bring to the readers reviews of standard interventional radiological procedures, clinical practice guidelines, brief reports, and insightful debates in the subject area. JCIR is committed to maintaining the best ethical practices of scientific publication while remaining mindful of social and environmental concerns. It strives to provide the scholarly experience to authors and readers alike. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. Its online version is available at Thieme E-Journals. |

objets que la poétique, menant son enquête depuis un autre pôle que celui d'un rêve de la production du texte ou de l'intention de son auteur, autrement aussi que dans l'étude approfondie des « avant-textes », approche. Soumettre les textes de Chateaubriand aux gestes de la poétique – ceux-là mêmes qui interrogent les contours des genres, le travail de l'intertextualité, ou encore l'effet dynamique des figures, considérées en leur sens le plus large – c'est espérer ainsi rendre le compte des mécanismes du texte, de son faire, selon l'étymologie, ou, si l'on veut, de sa fabrique. Ouvertes à des préoccupations autant théoriques qu'herméneutiques, les communications présentées ici contribuent chacune à éclairer cette dynamique de la production textuelle chez Chateaubriand, à manifester la spécificité d'une écriture qui décline toutes les modalités de la subversion (déception de l'attente, détournement des références, transgression de l'archi-texte, recyclage organisé des séquences) et qui travaille ainsi sans cesse à fabriquer son propre – et monumental – écart. |
