• Sommario/riassunto: La Terza indagine sulle condizioni di vita e di lavoro degli insegnanti nella scuola italiana, svolta nel 2008 dall'Istituto IARD con il sostegno del Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione e della Fondazione per la Scuola della Compagnia di San Paolo, si è proposta di approfondire i cambiamenti che hanno contrassegnato le opinioni e le pratiche didattiche dei docenti delle scuole primarie e secondarie nell'ultimo decennio. Basata sull'analisi di un ampio campione di interviste, l'indagine presenta un ricco insieme di informazioni sulle modalità di funzionamento della scuola italiana oggi e, soprattutto, sui vissuti degli insegnanti, le figure centrali da studiare per capire come il mondo scolastico stia affrontando le nuove sfide sociali.
