Proceedings of the 23rd annual scientific meeting, held in September 1994, co-sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and the European Society of Cardiology. The scientific foci have evolved over the years, but reflect such major themes as physiological signal processing, cardiovascular imaging and image processing, physiological modeling, therapeutic and diagnostic devices, and database development and management. In all of these areas there has been major progress, much of which has been enormously facilitated by computer technology, and by collaboration between physical and biomedical scientists. No index.
