|
Der Band gibt einen Einblick in eine disziplinär ausdifferenzierte Forschungspraxis der Komik in (post-)migrantischen und Kulturgrenzen überschreitenden Kontexten. In den jeweiligen Untersuchungsgegenständen fragen Autor/innen nach dem sozialen Sinn, nach Funktionen und Rollen, inszenatorischen und performativen Mitteln von Lachen, Humor, Komik und Satire. Es wird ersichtlich, dass die Komik neben der Unterhaltung eine Reihe anderer sozialer Funktionen erfüllt: Sie (re-)produziert, spiegelt, kommuniziert oder überwindet jeweils ein bestimmtes Problem, das im soziokulturellen Bereich der Beforschten verankert ist. In der Komik-Kommunikation werden Identitäten formiert und ausgehandelt: mittels aggressiver, gesichtsbedrohender und kompetitiver Komik-Kommunikation werden Grenzen markiert und Freundschaftsbeziehungen getestet. Die Beiträge dieses Bandes dienen dem besseren Bewusstsein, Verständnis und kritischen Umgang mit ethnisch-kulturellen Vorurteilen und negativen Fremdbildern, und sollen die Fremd- und Eigenwahrnehmungen sozialer Gruppen sowie deren historische Hintergründe bewusst machen.
