• Sommario/riassunto: An argument that protectionism is a threat to economic prosperity. The case for free trade is presented along with the errors of protectionist thinkers. Immigration policy, foreign aid, regionalism, development policy and issues of national competitiveness as they relate to open markets between countries are also discussed.
