Die vorliegende Arbeit beleuchtet die Straftheorie des Schriftstellers und Denkers Leo Tolstoi in ihrem zeitgeschichtlichen Kontext und stellt ihre Elemente umfassend dar. Dabei wird aufgezeigt, dass die Theorie - trotz aller Schwächen und Unzulänglichkeiten – weder weltfremd noch utopisch war. Zugleich versteht sich das Werk als Beitrag zur Erforschung der Rechtsphilosophie des späteren 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts. |
This volume presents the criminal theory of the author and thinker Leo Tolstoy in its historical context and provides a comprehensive portrayal of its elements. It shows that his theory – despite all of its weaknesses and shortcomings – was neither unworldly nor utopian. At the same time, it makes a contribution to research into the legal philosophy of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. |
