Frankreich ist seit Jahrzehnten Schauplatz rechtsradikaler Hegemoniekämpfe. Unter dem Einfluss der Nouvelle Droite werden rassistische, antiintellektuelle und anti-genderistische Ideologien für den Mainstream anschlussfähig. Durch neu-rechte und konservative politische Organisationen finden sie außerdem zunehmend Eingang in parlamentarische und massenmediale Diskurse. Dieser Band untersucht die sprachlich-diskursiven Praktiken, mit denen autoritäre Diskurse ins Zentrum der politischen Debatte Frankreichs befördert werden. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Regierungszeit Macrons, in der sich illiberale und autoritäre Diskurse häufen und normalisieren.
