It delves into the dynamics of DIY music spaces, their resistance to traditional music industry structures, and their reliance on solidarity and mutual aid. The book also addresses challenges such as the ephemeral nature of DIY cultural artifacts, the loss of digital records, and the absence of representation in institutional archives.
