Sommario/riassunto

Today, Earth sciences, geology, and ecology are widely discussed at numerous conferences, and specialized journals are dedicated to these fields. Sustainable development remains a key priority for the United Nations, encompassing issues such as the efficient use of land resources, reducing the consumption of non-renewable energy sources, and preserving the natural environment for future generations. Despite the numerous conferences and journals on these topics, this conference, now in its fourth edition, continues to attract the interest of scientists from around the world. They are eager to apply their research not only to advance science and theory but also to put it into practical use. The conference has facilitated the development of new scientific recommendations in Earth sciences and ecology, which could be valuable to government and regional authorities, international and supranational organizations, as well as the broader scientific and professional communities.
