Of a great victory obtained by the said Lieutenant Generall Crumwell against a party of the Earle of Northamptons regiment, the Lord Wilmots regiment, and the Queenes regiment of horse neere Oxford. 200. killed in the fight, and in the chase. 200. prisoners taken. 400. horse. The queens own colours. And great store of armes. Also, the taking of Bletchington-house by Lieutenant Generall Crumwell, a garrison of the Kings neere Oxford and kept by Colonell Windebanke, whether the residue of the enemy that escaped the former fight fled. With the coppy of the articles upon the surrender of the said house. 72 horse more taken in this house, 300 muskets, and great store of other armes and ammunition. Published by authority |
