Migration ist kein Ausnahmezustand, sondern eine existenzielle Grunderfahrung der Menschheit. Sie prägt gegenwärtige Gesellschaften, indem sie etablierte Ordnungen herausfordert, transnationale Räume jenseits nationaler Hegemonien schafft, neue Ökonomien stiftet, urbane und kommunale Lebensweisen beeinflusst sowie Ungleichheit und Prekarität lokal und global sichtbar macht.
