Tout formateur en alphabétisation est conscient du défi que représente la recherche de matériel didactique adapté aux réalités des personnes |

adultes analphabètes. Souvent contraints de créer leur propre matériel ou d'adapter à leur contexte du matériel déjà existant, les formateurs savent qu'en raison de la complexité de la situation, une adaptation ne saurait suffire, à moins qu'elle prenne en compte tous les facteurs biologiques, sociaux et culturels que sous-tend un contexte d'alphabétisation. Cet ouvrage jette un pavé dans la mare en contribuant à combler ce manque de matériel didactique. Il vise à répondre à certains besoins sur le plan du matériel certes, mais surtout sur le plan des connaissances issues de la recherche. En ce sens, il propose plus de 35 pistes d'interventions didactiques qui prennent appui sur la recherche en andragogie, en neurosciences, en psycholinguistique et en didactique des langues secondes ou étrangères pour justement comprendre les différents facteurs que sous-tend un contexte d'alphabétisation. Les formateurs en alphabétisation ainsi que les étudiants en éducation et les professionnels de la didactique pourront désormais faire le pont entre la recherche et le milieu de pratique en alphabétisation afin d'allier leur compréhension d'éléments contextuels à une pratique enseignante adaptée à la situation et porteuse de succès. |
