Was bedeutet eigentlich literarische Räumlichkeit? Julia Dettke entwickelt Analysekategorien, um zu beschreiben, wie es Texten gelingt, sich als von den Lesenden begehbare Räume zu inszenieren. Im Zuge des spatial turn sind eine ganze Reihe von Untersuchungen zu Literatur und Raum erschienen; die spezifisch literarische Räumlichkeit ist dabei aber ein weithin blinder Fleck geblieben. Georges Perecs Espèces d’espaces (1974) und La Vie mode d’emploi (1978), die auch bislang unveröffentlichte Typoskripte aus dem Nachlass des Autors einbeziehen, unterscheidet die Studie drei Ebenen des poetologisch-selbstreflexiven Bezugs von Texten auf Räume: Paratext, Schrift und Seitenraum sowie narrative Transgressionen. Sie stellt somit auch ein Begriffswerkzeug bereit, das über die französische Avantgardeliteratur hinaus herausarbeitet, wie durch Räumlichkeit die literarische Form neu verhandelt wird. |
