Corpopolitica e geopolitica della conoscenza (chi può/deve conoscere) sono i temi centrali di questo libro, entrambi attraversati dalla colonialità dell’essere e del sapere. “Donne”, “indigeni” e “neri” sono stati storicamente esclusi dall’accesso a quella che si considerava essere la cupola del sapere.
Se la cultura patriarcale legittima l’oppressione di genere e sessuale, questa, però, non si manifesta né è vissuta allo stesso modo dalle “donne di colore” negli Stati Uniti (Lugones); nella geopolitica ispano-marocchina, a causa delle differenze che il sistema sanitario spagnolo mostra nel trattamento delle donne ispaniche e marocchine (Jiménez-Lucena); né nel conflitto tra la cultura cristiana ortodossa dello Stato russo e la cultura musulmana del Caucaso (Tlostanova). Tanto il sesso quanto il genere si costruiscono socialmente e storicamente in forme che danno luogo a “sistemi di genere” che rendono più complessa la nozione di patriarcato. Le diverse storie locali generano risposte particolari in ciascuno di questi luoghi, ed è a partire da ognuna di tali storie che le tre autrici convergono sulla stessa idea che non può esistere un femminismo universale dettato dal femminismo bianco |
