Words -- they are not just an important part of our lives, but are the core to our total being. We rarely stop to think about them, how we use them or misuse them, just as we seldom stop to think about our breathing. Words come and go like inhaling and exhaling. But where would our lives, culture, or world be without words? The answer lies in Genesis 1:2. "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep."
