Au croisement de la sociologie urbaine et de la sociologie économique, cet ouvrage se focalise sur la compétition dans l’espace urbain dakarois entre différentes catégories d’acteurs : Chinois déterritorialisés évoluant dans l’activité commerciale et jeunes cordonniers et commerçants de rue locaux. Ces acteurs d’une mondialisation « par le bas », travaillant discrètement dans l’espace public, bousculent les hiérarchies imposées par la société salariale en participant à la constitution de nouveaux ordres économiques, sociaux, établissant ainsi de nouvelles relations de pouvoir. L’ouvrage s’adresse notamment aux chercheurs en sciences sociales intéressés par les formes prises par la « mondialisation non hégémonique » dans le contexte africain et par la petite production marchande urbaine et ses évolutions récentes. At the crossroads of urban sociology and economic sociology, this book focuses on the competition unfolding in the urban space of Dakar between different categories of actors: groups of deterritorialized Chinese involved in trading activities, young local cobblers and street vendors. These actors of a globalization “from below”, who discreetly shape the public space, upset the hierarchical order imposed by the wage society, by participating in the constitution of new economic and social hierarchies and new relationships of power. This research is also an invitation to go beyond the usual clichés regarding these local economic actors (referred to by the derogatory terms “baol-baol”, “kaw-kaw”) by focusing on the variety of their skills, the diversity of their backgrounds and their social and professional identities. Seit die DFG im Jahre 1995 eine erste Stellungnahme zum Thema Gentherapie veröffentlichte, hat sich dieses Forschungsfeld ernorm weiterentwickelt. Erste klinische Erfolge haben das therapeutische Potential, aber auch die Risiken dieser Therapieoption aufgezeigt. Diese neue Stellungnahme stellt nun die aktuellen Themen und Perspektiven der gentherapeutischen Forschung dar. Dabei finden auch die ethischen und rechtlichen Aspekte Berücksichtigung. |
