• Sommario/riassunto: Wie lebten homosexuelle, bi-, trans- und intersexuelle Menschen in der NS-Zeit? Welchen Verfolgungsmaßnahmen waren sie ausgesetzt? Diese und andere Fragen beantwortet der vorliegende Sammelband, für den das Institut für Zeitgeschichte München-Berlin und die Bundesstiftung Magnus Hirschfeld verantwortlich zeichnen. Dabei stehen nicht nur Polizei und Justiz im Fokus, sondern auch die politisch-administrative und die gesellschaftliche Repression. Überdies zeigen die Autorinnen und Autoren die ganze Vielfalt von Lebenssituationen auf - von Isolation über Tolerierung bis zur Unterstützung des Regimes. Neben der vergleichsweise gut erforschten Geschichte homosexueller Frauen und Männer geht es dabei auch um die bisher wenig beachteten Gruppen bi-, trans- und intersexueller Menschen - ein Ansatz, der Licht in ein kaum bekanntes Kapitel der Gesellschaftsgeschichte des Dritten Reichs bringt.
